Case Report: Sustained Remission Due to PD-1-Inhibition in a Metastatic Melanoma Patient With Depleted B Cells.

Introduction: Checkpoint-Inhibition (CPI) with PD-1- and PD-L1-inhibitors is a well-established therapy for advanced stage melanoma patients. CPI mainly acts T-lymphocytes. However, recent literature suggests also a role for B cells modulating its efficacy and tolerability of CPI.

SARS-CoV-2 spike protein is present in both endothelial and eccrine cells of a chilblain-like skin lesion.

Data on SARS‐CoV‐2 detection in lesional skin is controversial. We report a PCR‐proven COVID‐19 patient with a chilblain‐like SARS‐CoV‐2 positive skin lesion. An 80‐year‐old woman presented to the emergency department at the End of March 2020.

Evaluation of BCL-6, CD10, CD138 and MUM-1 expression in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma patients: CD138 is a marker of poor prognosis.

The diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) encompasses two major groups of tumors with uneven survival outcomes--germinal center B-cell (GCB) and non-germinal center B-cell (non-GCB). In the present study, we investigated the expression of GCB markers (BCL-6 and CD10) and non-GCB markers (CD138 and MUM-1) in an effort to evaluate their prognostic value. Paraffin-embedded tumor biopsies of 46 Jordanian DLBCL patients were analyzed, retrospectively, by immunohistochemistry to investigate the expression of BCL-6, CD10, CD138 and MUM-1.
