Light conversion films are crucial for optimizing vegetable crop production in greenhouses, particularly during winter and spring seasons. This study investigated the effects of a europium-based light conversion film (RPO) compared to traditional polyolefin film (PO film, control) on cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) cultivation, focusing on handle length, yield, and fruit quality in a randomized complete block design with three replications.

Introduction: Utilization of neoadjuvant systemic therapy (NAT) prior to radical nephroureterectomy (RNU) for upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) is inconsistent, and optimal patient selection for NAT is unclear. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical benefit of NAT in high grade UTUC undergoing RNU.
Materials And Methods: The UTUC Collaborative Network (UCAN) identified patients who underwent RNU for high grade UTUC between 2000 and 2022.
Introduction: Despite significant successes, immune checkpoint blockade fails to achieve clinical responses in a significant proportion of patients, predictive markers for responses are imperfect and immune-related adverse events (irAEs) are unpredictable. We used T-cell receptor (TCR) sequencing to systematically analyze prospectively collected patient blood samples from a randomized clinical trial of dual immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy to evaluate changes in the T-cell repertoire and their association with response and irAEs.
Methods: Patients with immunotherapy-naïve metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) were treated with ipilimumab and nivolumab according to trial protocol (LONESTAR, NCT03391869).
The Taihangshan-Yanshan Region is an important ecological barrier area in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and it is of great importance to investigate the spatial distribution pattern and driving mechanism of net primary productivity (NPP) of vegetation for ecological restoration. The MOD17A3HGF.061 NPP dataset was obtained using the Google earth engine(GEE), and Sen trend, coefficient of variation, partial correlation, complex correlation, and residual analysis were applied to investigate the spatial and temporal patterns of vegetation NPP in the study area and to quantitatively isolate the relative contributions of climate change and human activities.

Particulate organic carbon (POC) produced by phytoplankton is a major autochthonous carbon source in coastal bays. Previous studies on the fate of POC produced by phytoplankton mainly focused on the relationship between phytoplankton and zooplankton in classic food webs, while our knowledge on the roles of bacterioplankton is still limited, particularly in bays under highly intensive aquaculture activities.
