Aim Of The Study: Gallbladder cancer (GBC) lesions are usually solitary. The presence of multifocal disease can alter resectability and management. There are no systematic imaging-based studies evaluating multifocality in GBC.

Crescentic Glomerulonephritis in Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection.

The spectrum of kidney disease among human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infected patients is extensive. We describe a young male who was recently detected with HIV infection and antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) negative pauci-immune crescentic glomerulonephritis. The patient had no extrarenal vasculitis involvement.

Etiology and Epidemiology of Travelers' Diarrhea among US Military and Adult Travelers, 2018-2023.

Travelers' diarrhea has a high incidence rate among deployed US military personnel and can hinder operational readiness. The Global Travelers' Diarrhea study is a US Department of Defense--funded multisite surveillance effort to investigate the etiology and epidemiology of travelers' diarrhea. During 2018-2023, we enrolled 512 participants at partner institutions in 6 countries: Djibouti, Georgia, Egypt, Honduras, Nepal, and Peru.

Isolated cysticercosis of the liver - A rare case report on diagnosis and management of an incidental finding during prepyloric perforation peritonitis repair.

Cysticercosis is one of the most common parasitic infections seen in the human population which most commonly affects the nervous system. Isolated cysticercosis of the liver is rare, and only less than five cases have been reported in the literature. Here, we describe an isolated cysticercosis of the liver.

Enhancement Patterns of Malignant Gallbladder Masses at Multiphasic Contrast-enhanced CT: Associations With Clinicoradiopathological Features.

Purpose: To assess the enhancement patterns of malignant gallbladder masses at multiphasic contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT) and their association with the clinicoradiopathological features.

Material And Methods: In this retrospective study, consecutive patients with mass-forming gallbladder cancer (GBC) who underwent biphasic [hepatic arterial phase (HAP) and portal venous phase (PVP)] CECT between January 2019 and January 2023 were included. The enhancement patterns at CT scans were assessed independently by two radiologists blinded to the clinicopathological data.
