[Diagnosis of aortic aneurysm by scintigraphy and ultrasonography (author's transl)].

Angioscintigraphy, performed on 50 patients suspected of aortic aneurysm and complemented by abdominal ultrasonography in 31 cases, disclosed: -- Three cases of thoracic aortic aneurysm, 2 of which were confirmed by arteriography and surgery. It was impossible to perform surgery in the third case, no arteriography was done. Strict agreement with standard thoracic images had made the angioscintigraphic diagnosis seem correct.

[New approach to the study of the experimental inhibitory effect of the unicellular alga Chlorella pyrenoidosa against the murine sarcomas BP8 and L1210].

In this paper, the authors are relating the inhibitory effect of the unicellular alga Chlorella (Beijerinck, 1890) pyrenoidosa Zeitler and Lund, against the tumoural rodent strains BP8 and L1210, according to the amount of inoculum. The statistical study of the results allows to the conclusive fact of a real protective effect showed by this microorganism and of a demonstrative relation between the amount of the protective material and the tumoural answers the high amount giving a better inhibitory effect. The workers also insist on the lack of pathogenicity presented by the alga used in this study.

[Value of isotope study with ytterbium-169 citrate in the diagnosis of pulmonary opacities of cancerous nature].

Out of 60 observations, the authors deduct the value of the isotopic study with Ytterbium169 citrate in the diagnosis of cancerous pulmonary opacities. Ytterbium169 is a radiolanthanide with a period of 32 days. Patients receive intravenously 500 muCi of Ytterbium169 citrate.
