Postoperatively, she experienced chest pressure and abdominal pain with a notable elevation in cardiac markers. A cardiac catheterization and left ventriculogram revealed normal coronary arteries and basal anterolateral hypokinesis, with the normal movement of the distal segment of the anterior wall.
