"Swab Team" in the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak containment among healthcare workers.

Introduction: To analyze the virus spread among Sassari Hospital staff in the first Covid-19 wave and the impact of the Swab Team, a multidisciplinary task force entitled of nasopharyngeal swab collection and testing.

Methodology: Nasopharyngeal swabs from HCWs between March 6 and May 28 2020 are evaluated.

Results: 4919 SARS-CoV-2 tests were performed on 3521 operators.

Facile and fast preparation of low-cost silica-supported graphitic carbon nitride for solid-phase extraction of fluoroquinolone drugs from environmental waters.

The analytical application of silica-supported graphitic carbon nitride (g-CN@silica) for solid-phase extraction (SPE) of fluoroquinolone (FQ) pollutants from water is presented for the first time. g-CN@silica was easily and quickly prepared by one-pot thermal condensation of dicyandiamide and characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and surface area measurements. The novel composite was applied as sorbent for SPE of FQs from water prior high-performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection.

Victims of road rage: a qualitative study of the experiences of motorists and vulnerable road users.

Objective: To gain an in-depth understanding of road rage incidents from the victims' perspectives.

Methods: The data consisted of 30- to 60-min in-depth semistructured phone interviews with 29 self-identified victims of road rage. Twenty of the participants were in a motor vehicle, whereas 9 were pedestrians/cyclists.

Humeral fractures by arm wrestling in adult: a biomechanical study.

Humeral shaft fractures may occur as a result of arm wrestling. We discuss the biomechanics of this rare injury mechanism. Using Strength of materials concepts, Computerized Tomography and Bone Density Scans we studied the biomechanical and anatomical conditions that predispose to this particular fracture.

An eight component decision-making model for problem gambling: a systems approach to stimulate integrative research.

Problem Gambling (PG) represents a serious problem for affected individuals, their families and society in general. Previous approaches to understanding PG have been confined to only a subset of the psychobiological factors influencing PG. We present a model that attempts to integrate potential causal factors across levels of organization, providing empirical evidence from the vast literature on PG and complimentary literatures in decision-making and addiction.
