Internal auditory canal duplication with facial and cochlear nerve dysfunction: A case report.

Internal auditory canal duplication is a rare anomaly of the temporal bone. The condition is diagnosed on performing High-Resolution Computed Tomography of the temporal bone and magnetic resonance imaging for sensorineural hearing loss. A bony septum divides the internal auditory canal into dual compartments.

Manganese-Doped Bimetallic (Co,Ni)P Integrated CoP in N,S Co-Doped Carbon: Unveiling a Compatible Hybrid Electrocatalyst for Overall Water Splitting.

Rational design of highly efficient noble-metal-unbound electrodes for hydrogen and oxygen production at increased current density is crucial for robust water-splitting. A facile hydrothermal and room-temperature aging method is presented, followed by chemical vapor deposition (CVD), to create a self-sacrificed hybrid heterostructure electrocatalyst. This hybrid material, (Mn-(Co,Ni)P/CoP/(N,S)-C), comprises manganese-doped cobalt nickel phosphide (Mn-(Co,Ni)P) nanofeathers and cobalt phosphide (CoP) nanocubes embedded in a nitrogen and sulfur co-doped carbon matrix (N,S)-C on nickel foam.

Ocular morbidity among children attending government and private schools of Kathmandu valley.

Introduction: Children from the developing world are more prone to going blind from avoidable and preventable causes. In Nepal, children in private schools are reported to have a higher ocular morbidity than those in government schools, with myopia being the major cause of the morbidity. This study was designed to evaluate ocular morbidity in students from both types of school.

Color vision defects in school going children.

Introduction: Color vision defect can be observed in various diseases of optic nerve and retina and also a significant number of people suffer from the inherited condition of red and green color defect.

Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was designed with purposive sampling of students from various schools of Kathmandu Valley. All children were subjected to color vision evaluation using Ishihara Isochromatic color plates along with other examination to rule out any other causes for color deficiency.
