A newly identified subtype of hereditary axonal motor neuropathy, characterized by early proximal limb involvement, has been discovered in a cohort of 34 individuals with biallelic variants in von Willebrand factor A domain-containing 1 (). This study further delineates the disease characteristics in a cohort of 20 individuals diagnosed through genome or exome sequencing, incorporating neurophysiological, laboratory and imaging data, along with data from previously reported cases across three different studies. Newly reported clinical features include hypermobility/hyperlaxity, axial weakness, dysmorphic signs, asymmetric presentation, dystonic features and, notably, upper motor neuron signs.

In addition, we modified the classification of zone 2 disease into 2a and 2b and reported the respective outcome.
Methods And Materials: A review of a prospective database of patients who received diagnoses of PNS of cSCC and were treated with curative intent skull base surgery and/or radiation therapy between the years of 2013 and 2020 was conducted.

As electric vehicles become more widely used, there is a higher demand for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) and hence a greater incentive to find better ways to recycle these at their end-of-life (EOL). This work focuses on the process of reclamation and re-use of cathode material from LIBs. Black mass containing mixed LiMnO and NiCoAlO from a Nissan Leaf pouch cell are recovered via two different recycling routes, shredding or disassembly.
