To investigate associations and predictive factors between macular neovascularization (MNV) lesion variants and drusen types in patients with treatment-naïve neovascular age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Methods: Multimodal imaging was retrospectively reviewed for druse type (soft drusen, subretinal drusenoid deposits (SDDs) or mixed) and MNV type (MNV 1, MNV 2, MNV 1/2 or MNV 3). The Consensus on Neovascular AMD Nomenclature (CONAN) classification was used for characterizing MNV at baseline.

Serious games can be suitable tools for educational support in different areas of knowledge, such as Medicine. These applications, combined with technologies like mixed and augmented reality, provide a differentiated user experience that can keep or improve the interest and motivation of students and teachers during the teaching and learning process. In this context, this study aimed to present the development of AnemiaAR, a mixed reality serious game to support the teaching of haematology, helpful for students and professors in the visualisation and presentation of anaemia concepts.

Background: Chronic noncommunicable diseases such as arterial hypertension have a high impact in the context of public health. Previous studies have shown improvements in blood pressure due to simple lifestyle changes, which were supported by electronic health (eHealth) solutions.

Objective: The aim of this study is to develop an eHealth platform and assess the effects of its use on the health conditions of patients with hypertension, with assistance from health professionals in the public health system of a Brazilian city.
