[Analysis of nucleotide sequences of cytochrome C oxidase I (CO1) gene of mtDNA of Arctic Liopsetta glacialis and striped Liopsetta pinnifasciata flounder (Pleuronectidae) of the Sea of Okhotsk].

The first data on nucleotide sequences of cytochrome C oxidase I (CO1) gene of Arctic and striped flounders of the Sea of Okhotsk are analyzed. Nucleotide diversity of CO1 gene for 10 individuals of arctic flounder (π = 0,00370) is slightly less than that for 28 individuals of a striped flounder (π = 0,00446), caught in the Taui Lip, the Sea of Okhotsk. The size of the disparity index found on variability of nucleotides at individuals of a polar flounder indicates not selective nature of replacements, whereas at individuals of a striped flounder about a third of replacements is selective.

[On genetic differentiation of the yellowfin sole Limanda aspera from Taui Bay, the Sea of Okhotsk].

The population-genetic structure of yellowfin sole inhabiting in northern part of the Sea of Okhotsk has been investigated. Genetic heterogeneity of samples, collected in geographically remote areas of Taui Bay was found. The value of genetic differentiation GST = 2.

[Electrical activity of the retina in different axial lengths of the eye in humans].

In subjects with normal vision, we studied the relationship between the axial length of the eye and the amplitude-temporal characteristics of different types of ganzfield ERG. The amplitude of the ERG had the highest variability in the middle of the range of the axial eye lengths. The variability decreased at both ends of the range.

[Development of a rapid method of immunologic monitoring during pregnancy].

The authors validate the efficiency of enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA) for rapid diagnosis of rabies and titration of specific antibodies and of the method of isolation of field rabies strains in the rat Gasser's node neurinoma cells. Highly active specific diagnostic agents for ELISA and immunofluorescent test based on sheep immunoglobulins have been created for detection of the rabies agent in pathological material from different animals and humans.

[Effects of repeated courses of electrostimulation and psychophysiologic correction on visual system characteristics in patients with poor vision of different genesis].

The effect of 5 courses of transcutaneous electrostimulation and of a combination of electrostimulation and psychophysiological correction of vision on the visual functions is assessed in 47 patients (90 eyes) with poor sigh of different genesis. Courses of 8-10-days were administered twice a year for 2.5-3 years.
