Looking in a mirror, laparoscopic gastric sleeve in situs inversus patient: a case report.

Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy has been widely accepted and adopted as a weight loss procedure for obesity. Although technically demanding, it is feasible and can improve patients' overall health. However, any variation from normal anatomy can be challenging for any surgery, especially bariatric surgery, where a mistake could mean going from a life-saving opportunity to costing the patient's life.

Data on accumulative allocation of water rights in the Atacama Desert (Antofagasta Region, northern Chile), 1905-2018.

This article presents a dataset on the accumulated water flow (L/s) granted in the Antofagasta Region for each year between 1905 and 2018. We produced the dataset starting from the official public records on water rights ( RPDAA), which are free to access and available at the National Water Agency's website (, DGA). The initial data described 1047 individual water rights granted in the Antofagasta Region according to 65 criteria.

New classification of directly compressible (DC) excipients in function of the SeDeM Diagarm Expert System.

As a methodology for characterizing substances with regard to its viability in direct compression, the SeDeM Diagram Expert System may be considered a new tool in terms of the number of parameters applied and its optimization. The paper is based on the experimental SeDeM characterization study of 51 directly compressible (DC) excipients. After selecting the parameters, and comparing the corresponding results, the choices available within the SeDeM Expert System could be expanded.
