This work presents an optimization of the construction, treatment, and activation of 3D-printed electrochemical sensors (E-3D). For this, was used a 2-full factorial design examining three key variables at two levels: electrode height, electrode diameter, and printing speed. Moreover, it evaluates various physical, chemical, and electrochemical methods to treat and activate the E-3D surface.

This longitudinal ecological study was based on public national data from routine public dental service utilization records within the Health Information System for Primary Care. These data were employed to compute the rate of dental appointments for users with toothache (per 1,000 users) within each municipality throughout 15 four-month periods (P1-2018 to P3-2022), classified by population size.

While evidence suggests that high levels of GDF15 in cardiac surgery are associated with worse outcomes, its utility as an evaluator of early postoperative complications remains unclear. This study aims to characterize the postoperative profile of GDF15 in patients undergoing isolated surgical aortic valve replacement, evaluating its association with short-term outcomes.
