Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is a severe form of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) reported to affect 3-8 % of women of reproductive age and resulting in marked emotional and occupational impairment. Despite its prevalence, the etiology of PMDD is largely unknown, and patients remain mostly undiagnosed and poorly treated. It has been suggested that PMDD is a manifestation of underlying depressive disorder which is associated with the inability to regulate emotions in an adaptive manner.

Purpose: To prospectively compare the results of coronary artery calcium (CAC) measurements obtained with 55- and 165-mAs electrocardiographically gated multi-detector row computed tomography (CT).

Materials And Methods: Institutional clinical study review board approval and written informed consent were obtained. Fifty-one consecutive subjects (mean age, 59 years +/- 10) were scanned consecutively by using 165 and 55 mAs.

Background: In recent years we have seen an increasing number of children in Israel with tinea pedis.

Objective: To determine the prevalence of tinea pedis in 5- to 14-year-old schoolchildren in a comprehensive epidemiologic population-based study.

Methods: A total of 1148 children, ages 5 to 14 years, from 7 schools with different socioeconomic backgrounds from the Jerusalem area were examined for the presence of tinea pedis.
