Background: Doxorubicin (DOX) is a highly effective chemotherapy drug widely used to treat cancer, but its use is limited due to multisystemic toxicity. Lipid metabolism is also affected by doxorubicin. Orange juice can reduce dyslipidemia in other clinical situations and has already been shown to attenuate cardiotoxicity.

The elimination of organic substances, such as phenol, in conventional and biological processes, has been considered a challenge for the petroleum industry. In this work, reduced graphene oxide (rGO), obtained from cellulosic biomass (CB-rGO), as cotton waste, was employed as a phenol adsorbent in an aqueous solution simulating refinery effluent. The CB-rGO was characterized using HRTEM, Raman, XRD, FTIR, BET, and zeta analysis.

Systemic mastocytosis (SM) poses a diagnostic challenge. This hematologic disorder involves abnormal mast cell proliferation and concurrent tissue infiltration. SM clinical presentation is not uniform, with patients displaying a wide array of symptoms related to different organ infiltration and mast cell mediators.
