Glycosylation of immunoglobulin G (IgG) is recognized as a key modulator of cellular effector functions. At the same time, an increasing body of evidence underlines the importance of other antibody isotypes, especially IgA and IgM, in pathophysiological conditions. Therefore, methods to efficiently study the complex interplay between isotypes, subclasses, and glycosylation of antibodies during acute and chronic states of inflammation are needed.

Introduction: Women with inflammatory arthritis (IA) face significant challenges throughout preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum phases, including concerns about disease management and medication safety. The Reproductive Rheumatology care pathway at Erasmus University Medical Center integrates specialized care from rheumatologists and specialized nurses to address both medical, nursing, practical and emotional needs during these phases. This study evaluates patient satisfaction, identifies unmet needs, and explores opportunities for enhancing support within this integrated care model.

Objectives: To evaluate the short and long term effects of an online, interactive, multifactorial lifestyle intervention program (Leef! Met Reuma) on health risk and all ICHOM-recommended patient reported outcome measures(PROMs) in patients with an Inflammatory Arthritis(IA), OsteoArthritis(OA) or FibroMyalgia(FM).

Methods: Patients with an IA, OA or FM, could register for the lifestyle intervention program. The program consists of a 3-month intensive part followed by a 21-month aftercare period and focuses on 4 pillars, namely nutrition, exercise, relaxation and sleep.

Objectives: Inflammatory arthritis (IA) has been associated with various problems related to male sexual and reproductive health (SRH). However, addressing these issues in the clinic remains a challenge. In this study, we aimed to describe the viewpoints of rheumatologists and male patients with IA regarding the aspects that influence their communication about SRH.

Alpha-1-acid glycoprotein (AGP) is a heterogeneous glycoprotein fulfilling key roles in many biological processes, including transport of drugs and hormones and modulation of inflammatory and immune responses. The glycoform profile of AGP is known to change depending on (patho)physiological states such as inflammatory diseases or pregnancy. Besides complexity originating from five N-glycosylation sites, the heterogeneity of the AGP further expands to genetic variants.
