Aims: More than 220 Mio people live at altitudes above 2000 m, many of whom have pre-existing chronic diseases, including pulmonary vascular diseases (PVDs) such as pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) or chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH).
