Introduction: The prevention of diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) involves the classification of risk, systemic care, regular examinations, foot care, therapeutic education and adjunct treatments. Photobiomodulation (PBM) has been successfully administered for the healing of DFU and its preventive effects have drawn the interest of researchers.
Methods And Analysis: The purpose of the study is to assess the effect of PBM for the prevention of DFU through a randomised, controlled, double-blind, clinical trial.

This study evaluated the effects of water-soluble fractions (WSF) of stranded oil sampled from the beaches of Trancoso and Massarandupió (Bahia, Brazil) following a mysterious oil spill along Brazil's northeast coast (2019-2020). The samples were characterized for aliphatic hydrocarbons (AHs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and tested for chronic toxicity in the embryo-larval stages of the sea urchin Echinometra lucunter. The WSFs contained high levels of PAHs, some of which were above the acceptable levels for water in Brazil, and toxicity to sea urchin embryos tended to occur at higher concentrations.

Despite this, it is commonly used in free translations without validation. The objective of the present study was to perform the cross-cultural adaptation of the KPS instrument to Brazilian Portuguese (KPS-BR) through the stages of conceptual, semantic, operational, measurement, and functional equivalences.

Methods: The documentary was developed through action research and interventions with adolescents in the territory of a Health Unit, conducted between 2020 and 2022, using Social Technology as both an action strategy and a conceptual reference.
Results: The Social Technology proposal, created through workshops and seminars, resulted in a documentary focusing on violence prevention, involving 48 adolescents.
