The title compound, diytterbium enneaoxidotritellurate(IV), was obtained in its -type crystal structure from the binary oxides at 1073 K using a CsCl flux. It crystallizes isotypically with -type TmTeO and LuTeO, closing this gap of knowledge.

Methods: An online questionnaire was disseminated to allied health professional, inclusive of operating department practitioner, students in England in 2021.
Results: One hundred and fifty operating department practitioner students attending undergraduate courses completed the questionnaire.
The layered orthorhombic quaternary tellurides EuCuTe ( = Ho, Tm, Sc) with symmetry were first synthesized. Single crystals of the compounds up to 500 μm in size were obtained by the halide-flux method at 1120 K from elements taken in a ratio of Eu//Cu/Te = 1:1:1:3. In the series of compounds, the changes in lattice parameters were in the ranges = 4.

Single crystals of the compound were obtained from the elements at 1120 K using CsI as a flux. The crystal structure of EuErCuTe was solved in the space group ( = 4.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFMagnetic semiconductors EuPrCuSe and EuNdCuSe were obtained by using the halide flux method. Their crystal structures and magnetic properties were studied and discussed. Optical properties of the obtained selenides were studied by the means of diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, which revealed the values of 1.
