Validation of an instrument to assess student pharmacist self-authorship.

Introduction: Self-authorship is the creation of one's own perspective by contextually evaluating evidence, constructing independent beliefs, and maintaining capacity to consider outside perspectives. Transitioning between cognitive self-authorship stages is common during higher education. Despite correlation to several co-curricular subdomains, instruments to measure self-authorship are limited, however, one such instrument has been developed within medical education and would benefit use within pharmacy education.

Drift of Schottky Barrier Height in Phase Change Materials.

Phase-change memory (PCM) devices have great potential as multilevel memory cells and artificial synapses for neuromorphic computing hardware. However, their practical use is hampered by resistance drift, a phenomenon commonly attributed to structural relaxation or electronic mechanisms primarily in the context of bulk effects. In this study, we reevaluate the electrical manifestation of resistance drift in sub-100 nm GeSbTe (GST) PCM devices, focusing on the contributions of bulk vs interface effects.

: A well-functioning healthcare team is important to optimizing the health outcomes of patients. As such, the use of Team Based Learning (TBL) in the education of health professionals has emerged as one of the more common active learning strategies. In various anecdotes with preceptors, it had been observed that student pharmacists educated in a TBL classroom exhibited increased skills in the affective domain.

A bi-level model for state and county aquatic invasive species prevention decisions.

Recreational boats are important vectors of spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS) among waterbodies of the United States. To limit AIS spread, state and county agencies fund watercraft inspection and decontamination stations at lake access points. We present a bi-level model for determining how a state planner can efficiently allocate inspection resources to county managers, who independently decide where to locate inspection stations.
