Objectives: Small lesions are the limiting factor for reducing gadolinium-based contrast agents in brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The purpose of this study was to compare the sensitivity and precision in metastasis detection on true contrast-enhanced T1-weighted (T1w) images and artificial images synthesized by a deep learning method using low-dose images.

Materials And Methods: In this prospective, multicenter study (5 centers, 12 scanners), 917 participants underwent brain MRI between October 2021 and March 2023 including T1w low-dose (0.

Purpose: To investigate the feasibility of high-dose dobutamine stress (HDDS) imaging using SSFP sequences at 3 T employing patient-adaptive local RF-shimming using a dual-source RF transmission system.

Materials And Methods: 13 Patients underwent a HDDS protocol on a 3 T MRI scanner (Achieva 3.0T-TX, Philips Healthcare), equipped with a dual-source RF transmission system.

Background: Using first-pass MRA (FP-MRA) spatial resolution is limited by breath-hold duration. In addition, image quality may be hampered by respiratory and cardiac motion artefacts. In order to overcome these limitations an ECG- and navigator-gated high-resolution-MRA sequence (HR-MRA) with slow infusion of extracellular contrast agent was implemented at 3 Tesla for the assessment of congenital heart disease and compared to standard first-pass-MRA (FP-MRA).

History And Admission Findings: A 53-year-old woman was admitted to our chest pain unit because of an acute coronary syndrome (non ST-elevation myocardial infarction). She complained of asthma, chronic sinusitis and involuntary weight loss, occasional fever and night sweats over the past six months.

Investigations: Coronary angiography did not show any signs of macroscopic coronary artery disease, while echocardiography demonstrated a hemodynamically not significant pericardial effusion.

In the past, immunogenicity of hepatitis A and B vaccines needed to be questioned in persons of advanced age, especially in those of 40 years and older. We performed a comparative multicenter prospective and retrospective study with the combined hepatitis A and B vaccine Twinrix to identify factors influencing the results of the vaccination in a population of all age groups. Out of 489 subjects enrolled, 241 were vaccinated in a prospective study (group 1) and 248 subjects in a retrospective study (group 2) in 17 German centers with median age of 40.
