Posttranslational modifications (PTMs) of proteins play critical roles in regulating many cellular events. Antibodies targeting site-specific PTMs are essential tools for detecting and enriching PTMs at sites of interest. However, fundamental difficulties in molecular recognition of both PTM and surrounding peptide sequence have hindered the efficient generation of highly sequence-specific anti-PTM antibodies.

Although the presence of occupational noise-induced hearing loss (ONIHL) among dental operators is established, preventive measures such as ear protection devices (EPDs) are not frequently employed as prophylactic intervention. The primary aim of this study was to quantitatively assess the noise levels in paediatric dental clinics and to qualitatively evaluate the operators' perception of noise with and without the use of EPDs.

This study aims to understand the metabolic mechanisms of unintentional weight loss and their relationship with body composition changes in older adults. We investigated plasma metabolite associations with weight and body composition changes over 5 years in 1335 participants (mean age 73.

We observed no effect of b blockers on steady-state mouse hematopoiesis. However, mice treated with a non-selective b blocker (carvedilol), but not a b1-selective inhibitor (metoprolol), exhibited impaired hematopoietic regeneration after syngeneic or allogeneic HCTs.

Methods: Due to its broad scope, a formal systematic electronic literature search was not performed.
