Introduction: The development of national registries from routinely collected health data has transformed the research landscape by improving access to large sample populations. This growing volume of data enables researchers to address critical questions but also challenges clinicians in conducting, evaluating, and applying the research. The National Trauma Data Bank (NTDB), the largest aggregate of deidentified trauma data in the world, is increasingly utilized for retrospective studies on trauma.

Materials And Methods: Seven typodonts were digitally printed with hemi-ellipsoid or rectangular attachments in the incisal, middle or cervical third of the UL2. Five clear aligners were fabricated for each typodont; each was tested twice.
Objective: To evaluate the effects of varying direct attachment shape and size on the forces and moments generated by thermoplastic aligners during simulated expansion.
Materials And Methods: An in vitro orthodontic force tester (OFT) was used to measure the forces and moments from a typodont where the buccal teeth were translated lingually 0.2 mm to simulate expansion.
X-ray reflectance and film stress were measured for 12 bilayer and trilayer reflective interference coatings and compared with a single-layer Ir coating. The interference coatings comprise a base layer of W, Pt, or Ir, top layers of either C or , and, in the case of the trilayer coatings, middle layers of either Co or Ni. The coatings were deposited by magnetron sputtering.

In particular, social anxiety is characteristic of this population and also related to poor social functioning and FER biases, such as misinterpreting neutral faces as negative or threatening; however, little is known about how social anxiety relates to these processes in CHR individuals. The present study examined the overlap of social anxiety, social functioning, and FER accuracy and bias.
