Five compounds, [Zn(bpe)(BPTA)(HO)] ⋅ 2HO (1); [Zn(bpe)(BPTA)] (2); [Cd(bpe)(BPTA)HO] (3); [Cd(BPTA) (bpmh)] ⋅ 2HO (4); and Cu(BPTA)(bpmh)(HO)] ⋅ 2HO (5) were prepared employing 2,5-bis(prop-2-yn-1-yloxy)terephthalic acid (2, 5 BPTA) as the primary ligand and 1,2-di(pyridin-4-yl)ethane (4, 4' bpe) (1-3) and 1,2-bis(pyridin-3-ylmethylene)hydrazine (bpmh) (4-5) as the secondary ligands. Single crystal studies indicated that the compounds 1, 3 and 5 have two-dimensional layer structures and compounds 2 and 4 three-dimensional structures. The luminescence behaviour of the compounds 2 and 3 were explored for the sensing of metronidazole in aqueous medium.

Here we report the liquid-solid interaction in droplet-based triboelectric nanogenerators (TENG) for estimation of human Na/Klevels. The exploitation of PVDF-HFP encapsulated WSas active layer in the droplet-based TENG (DTENG) leads to the generation of electrical signal during the impact of water droplet. Comparison over the control devices indicates that surface quality and dielectric nature of the PVDF-HFP/WScomposite largely dictates the performance of the DTENG.

Mitochondrial methionyl-tRNA formyltransferase (MTFMT) is required for the initiation of translation in mitochondria. Pathogenic variants in have been described in association with clinical presentations with Leigh syndrome, as well with as multisystem involvement (particularly cardiac and ocular involvement). There is a spectrum of severity, but many reported presentations have been milder with a better prognosis than other pathogenic variants associated with Leigh syndrome.

The activity of a green tissue-specific promoter of the Rubisco small subunit gene from  () was studied using transgenic chickpea lines. We generated transgenic chickpea lines expressing an  promoter-driven  gene through mediated transformation method. Lines with  expressed the gene in all green tissues at high levels (> 90 ng/mg of fresh weight tissue) compared to lines generated using  (< 10 ng/mg FW).
