The upscaling of biphasic photochemical reactions is challenging because of the inherent constraints of liquid-gas mixing and light penetration. Using semi-permeable coaxial flow chemistry within a modular photoreactor, the photooxidation of the platform chemical furfural was scaled up to produce routinely 29 gram per day of biobased building block hydroxybutenolide, a precursor to acrylate alternatives.

Furthermore, the smallest detectable change (SDC) and minimal clinically important difference (MCID) were determined. All consecutive patients scheduled for an arthroscopic procedure for FAIS were selected.

XUV pulses are generated via high-harmonic generation using a near-infrared pulse in a noble gas medium and focused to excite luminescence from a solid sample. The luminescence is collimated and guided into a streak camera where its spectral components are temporally resolved with picosecond temporal resolution.

A key element in these strategies is the empowerment of individuals to control their health. Self-measurement plays an essential role in achieving such empowerment.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the prospectively registered data of patients who had undergone hip arthroscopy for FAI syndrome in our clinic from 2015 through 2018. Latent class growth modeling and growth mixture modeling were used to identify and classify groups of patients according to the trajectory of functional recovery using the Hip Outcome Score-Activities of Daily Life (HOS-ADL).
