Purpose: Solitary fibrous tumors (SFTs) are a rare type of mesenchymal tumors. The World Health Organization reclassified SFTs in 2021. Currently, guidelines concerning treatment and follow-up are lacking.

Evaluating the reproducibility and validity of maximal mouth opening measurement techniques.

Objectives: A limitation of the maximal mouth opening (MMO) is a frequent complication of oral (cancer) surgery. The measurement between the right central incisors is considered the golden standard for assessing MMO, although it has been noted to overestimate MMO in edentulous patients. This study aims to evaluate the reproducibility and validity of four MMO techniques and to determine the extent to which they are dependent on the remaining dentition.

Aachen smoking cessation and harm reduction (ASCHR) trial study protocol - scientific evaluation of a psychological-telemedical counseling concept for smoking cessation in patients with vascular diseases.

Background: Smoking is a major risk factor of cardiovascular diseases, notably peripheral arterial disease (PAD). Despite this link, research on smoking cessation interventions in PAD patients remains scarce and inconclusive regarding the efficacy of such interventions. Therefore, elucidating it is crucial and should address both individuals who smoke that are motivated to quit and individuals who smoke heavily lacking the motivation to quit.

[Potential of a Telemedical, Inpatient-Outpatient Care Concept to Improve the Quality of Healthcare from the User's Perspective - An Acceptance Analysis of the TELnet@NRW Study].

Objective: The aim of this study was to measure the acceptance of a telemedical, inpatient-outpatient care concept by physicians, patients and the relatives of patients. Based on a quantitative survey of acceptance, both the potential and success factors influencing the use of telemedicine were to be highlighted.

Methods: The TELnet@NRW study is a national, multicenter, cluster-randomized study in stepped-wedge design conducted from February 2017 to January 2020 for the purpose of documenting changes in the quality of care through telemedicine in an inpatient-outpatient network.
