[Isolated macronodular sarcoidosis].

A particular case of macronodular isolated sarcoidosis with neurological and ocular involvement is presented, associated with pseudo-balding. A revision of the most important aspects of the diagnostic of this multifaceted disease is realized. The benefits of a surgical treatment for the cases of isolated nodes are pointed out.

Acquired kinking of the hair: a methodologic approach.

A case of acquired, nonprogressive kinking of the hair, a rare abnormality, is studied by means of optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. In addition, a standard of measure is proposed for estimation of the number of cuticular cells per diameter. The criteria for confirmation of the diagnosis of this case are also described.

[Basal cell nevus syndrome. Presentation of 2 cases. 1 associated with medulloblastoma].

A case of nevoid basal-cell carcinoma syndrome in a four years old girl with preceding familiar history is reported. In her epithelioma father numerous basocellular, milia cysts, mandibular cysts, dentition disorders, brain falx calcifica ted and hiperkeratosis of the sole of the feet were described. Clinically, the girl presented initial migraine and vomits together with macrocephalus, bossing forehead, hypertelorism, physical disorders, retarded maturation, "keel" thorax, genu recurvatum, hallux valgus, hammerfinger, pigmented nevus and hyperkeratosis of the sole of the feet.

[Destructive diaphysitis in early congenital syphilis].

X-ray observations of bone lesions produced by Syphilis Connata Praecox have been reviewed. 15 cases of this condition are presented of which six show mucous and cutaneous lesions. One planus condylomata; three cases of pemphigus, one with paronychia; one perionixis and one rhinitis.
