The purpose of this manuscript is to report a rare case of pediatric central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO) in the setting of atypical hypercoagulable tests. An 11-year-old female presented to the emergency department with painless, visual changes in the left eye. Ophthalmological examination was remarkable for a central area of retinal ischemia and edema with sparing along the distribution of the cilioretinal artery along with a cherry red spot, all of which were consistent with a CRAO.

Observation: A 23-year-old female presented for routine prenatal monitoring when an orbital cyst was detected with a transabdominal ultrasound. Uncomplicated cesarean section was performed at 38 weeks gestation with proptosis of the left globe being noted on ophthalmic examination of the newborn.

Purpose: To assess the utility of a marginal full thickness blepharotomy (MFTB) for the treatment of orbital compartment syndrome.
Methods: An experimental study design employing a cadaver model for orbital compartment syndrome was used to assess the efficacy of an MFTB. Elevated orbital compartment pressures were created in 12 orbits of 6 fresh cadaver heads.
The purpose of this article is to report a rare case of isolated superior ophthalmic vein thrombosis. A 74-year-old female presented to the emergency department with a sudden onset of eye pain and bulging. Ophthalmological examination was remarkable for proptosis and ptosis with chemosis of the OS.
