Objective: This review aims to investigate parents' preference for and use of Ibuprofen and Paracetamol in managing and treating children's fevers as well as the factors influencing their decision-making and practices.
Introduction: Parents globally face concern over managing children's fever, seeking relief while ensuring safety, often relying on accessible medications like Paracetamol and Ibuprofen.
Inclusion Criteria: The review included quantitative studies involving parents and caregivers managing fever in children aged 0-17 years.
Background: Extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP) product characteristics are not well established. The aim of this study was to compare mononuclear cells (MNCs) collection using the new Amicus blue (AB) In-line ECP system to our standard Off-line ECP system using the Optia apheresis device and the MacoGenic G2 inactivation system (OM).
Study Design And Methods: We assessed the ECP products and procedure parameters, patient characteristics, and adverse events for both AB and OM systems in paired patients.
Mercury (Hg) is a global pollutant with substantial risks to human and ecosystem health. By upward transport in tropical regions, mercury enters into the stratosphere, but the contribution of the stratosphere to global mercury dispersion and deposition remains unknown. We find that between 5 and 50% (passing through the 400-kelvin isentropic surface and tropopause, respectively) of the mercury mass deposited on Earth's surface is chemically processed in the lower stratosphere.

Materials And Methods: the sample consisted of six children, three with CP and three with SMA, who received eight sessions of robot-assisted gait therapy. Safety was measured by the presence of adverse events.
Strontium isotope (Sr/Sr) analysis with reference to strontium isotope landscapes (Sr isoscapes) allows reconstructing mobility and migration in archaeology, ecology, and forensics. However, despite the vast potential of research involving Sr/Sr analysis particularly in Africa, Sr isoscapes remain unavailable for the largest parts of the continent. Here, we measure the Sr/Sr ratios in 778 environmental samples from 24 African countries and combine this data with published data to model a bioavailable Sr isoscape for sub-Saharan Africa using random forest regression.
