Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the real-world persistence, effectiveness, and safety of secukinumab in adult patients with moderate-to-severe psoriasis in two different hospitals.
Methods: Retrospective cohort study that used registries and medical records from 2 different hospitals (February 2015-March 2024). Adults with moderate-to-severe psoriasis who initiated secukinumab treatment were identified and followed-up until March 2024, or disenrollment.
Pediatric obesity can drastically heighten the risk of cardiometabolic alterations later in life, with insulin resistance standing as the cornerstone linking adiposity to the increased cardiovascular risk. Puberty has been pointed out as a critical stage after which obesity-associated insulin resistance is more difficult to revert. Timely prediction of insulin resistance in pediatric obesity is therefore vital for mitigating the risk of its associated comorbidities.

However, a thorough understanding of the domain switching dynamics involved in the polarization reversal is required to achieve full control of the multibit capability. Transient current integration measurements are adopted to investigate the domain dynamics in aluminum scandium nitride (AlScN) and hafnium zirconium oxide (HfZrO).

Therefore, we used molecular dynamics simulations to elucidate the behavior of CO within aqueous and ionic liquid (IL) systems ([EMIM][TFSI] and [OMIM][TFSI]), both confined individually and as an interfacial aqueous/IL system. We found that within aqueous systems the mobility of CO is reduced due to interactions between the CO oxygens and hydroxyl groups on the pore surface.

A relationship between calcium deposits distribution to an underlying eccrine duct was noted on pathology. The observation of dermal calcium deposits and its association with generalized ESs may support a possible sweat duct origin of this uncommon and peculiar form of superficial calcinosis cutis.
