Recent advances in telehealth adoption prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic have highlighted the potential for improved intensive care outcomes through implementing pediatric telehealth in rural and remote settings. Telemedicine consults can be used in a variety of intensive care scenarios including procedural support, resuscitation, specialty consults, and transport. Telemedicine consults for pediatric care in rural environments improve access, cost-effectiveness, and family-centeredness.

Study Design: This observational, multicenter, simulation-based study enlisted a national cohort of pediatric transport centers. Teams participated in 3 scenarios: nonaccidental abusive head injury, sepsis, and cardiac arrest.
Objective: To assess the impact of NRP virtual simulations (eSim™), video or no refresher training, on simulation performance, six months after a provider course; and to evaluate eSim™ acceptability.
Study Design: In this multi-site randomized controlled trial, NRP providers from four U.S.
Objective: This study aimed to describe the type and frequency of enteral and parenteral fluids and medications used during the transport of neonates by a regional pediatric critical care transport team.
Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of neonates transported by a regional neonatal transport team affiliated with a level IV neonatal intensive care unit within a large care network between 2020 and 2021. Demographic and clinical data were collected from the electronic medical record.
