[The laparoscopic adrenalectomy in children].

22 children with tumors or other surgical diseases of the adrenal glands were operated on laparoscopically. Children aged from 5 months to 17 years. Operation lengths varied from 45 to 190 minutes.

[Characteristic of cytopathological changes in urine after extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy].

The aim of the study is to assess the damage to the urothelium caused by shock waves through cytological examination of the urinary sediment in patients who had ESWL. Study included 100 otherwise healthy first-time stone-formers aged 20 to 50, who underwent ESWL on Modulit SLK machine. Urinary samples were taken before and immediately after ESWL, in two days and on the fourth day after ESWL.

Helminthosis infections in pond carp farms of the Ararat plain have been studied: species composition of helminthes is recovered; main helmithoses are revealed; helminthological situation is estimated.

[Genetic engineering of peptide hormones. II. Possible polymorphism of bovine preprolactin. Molecular cloning data].

The primary structure of an insert from a clone isolated from the bovine pituitary cDNA library by hybridization with prolactin-specific probe has been determined. It was found that the rearrangement of cDNA took place in the process of cloning. The rearrangement includes the inversion of 5'-terminal and the deletion of the central part of cDNA.
