A 32-year-old male presented with unilateral orbital-temporal pulsatile headache, followed by fever in the 38°C range and nausea. The patient experienced two episodes of transient dysarthria and tinnitus, each lasting several minutes. MRI revealed swelling of the left cerebral cortex, enhancement of the leptomeninges, dilation of the left middle cerebral artery, and subcortical FLAIR hypointensity.

The present study examined whether the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) ATP levels in patients with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) are related to disease severity.
Methods: CSF ATP levels in 13 patients with GBS and 18 patients with CIDP were compared with those in a control group of 16 patients with other neurological diseases (ONDs).
The construction of novel complexes can lead to the manifestation of unexpected structures and properties, thereby making chemical exploration in experiments a potential source for novel discoveries. In this study, by reacting 6,6'-dihydrazineyl-2,2'-bipyridine with acyl chlorides and subsequently coordinating with boron trifluoride, two different boron-tetradentate ligand complexes were simultaneously generated. One of these complexes exhibited a unique structure in which tetra-BF moieties coordinated to all four coordination sites of the ligand molecule, forming a flag-hinged structure around the bipyridine part.

Thus, timely detection of relapse and appropriate disease management are crucial. We present two patients with ENKTL, wherein positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT) with total-body coverage after induction therapy, detected newly relapsed regions in the bone marrow of the lower leg prior to progression.
