The effect of cytoflavin on parameters of the left ventricular systolic function (LVSF) during acute myocardial infarction was studied in a group of 46 patients which received this drug (in addition to standard therapy) intravenously as 20 mL of Polysan solution (St. Petersburg, Russia) diluted in 250 mL of 5% glucose solution once a day 30 min before coronary artery recanalization.
