The abundance of raw materials is a significant advantage that positions sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) as a promising energy storage solution for the future. However, the low cycle efficiency and poor rate capacity of cathode materials have hindered the commercialization of SIBs, prompting extensive research efforts to address these challenges. Ion doping into the material structure is considered to be an effective, simple, and scalable approach to enhancing the electrical performance of cathode materials.

Pseudotumor pancreatitis was also described many years ago. It was misdiagnosed and required surgery for pancreatic head neoplasms.

In this study, we evaluate the outcomes of benign thyroid tumour treatment using transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy via vestibular approach (TOETVA) and compare the results with those of conventional open thyroidectomy (COT).
Patients And Methods: We conducted a prospective cohort study between 100 patients who underwent TOETVA and 100 who underwent COT surgery for benign diseases from June 2018 to December 2021 in our hospital.
Background: Recently, modified radical neck dissection (MRND) for papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) has been performed by the transoral endoscopic approach. However, dissection of level II lymph nodes using only the transoral approach is highly difficult because of the inadequate axis of surgical view. Hence, we decided to combine the transoral and chest approaches to perform MRND.

Yet, most TF-to-coactivator recruitment relationships remain unmapped. Here, studying the oncogenic fusion TF PAX3-FOXO1 (P3F) from alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (aRMS), we show that a single cysteine in the activation domain (AD) of P3F is important for a small alpha helical coil that recruits CBP/p300 to chromatin.

Mechanistically, Ewing sarcoma is driven by the fusion transcription factor EWS-FLI1, which reprograms the tumor cell epigenome. The nucleosome remodeling and deacetylase (NuRD) complex is an important regulator of chromatin function, controlling both gene expression and DNA damage repair, and has been associated with EWS-FLI1 activity.

The aims of this study were to estimate the proportion of patients with asthma features among patients with physician-diagnosed COPD and to investigate differences in clinical characteristics and current medications between COPD patients with asthma features and patients with COPD alone. A cross-sectional study was conducted at two respiratory out-patient clinics at the University Medical Center in Ho Chi Minh City and Bach Mai Hospital in Ha Noi, Vietnam.

RMS should be suspected whenever children present with rapidly progressing unilateral exophthalmos. Its symptoms depend on the lesion's origin and location.

However, there are few reports on the effectiveness and safety of TOETVA in children. In this study, we report the results of the application of TOETVA on 27 pediatric patients in Vietnam.

Our study aimed to assess COPD out-patient clinics management efficacy with respect to medication adherence and treatment costs at 3 out-patient clinics. Data were collected through 514 patient interviews and from medical records for statistical analysis.

In this video, we show a three-port TORT without an axillary incision for papillary thyroid carcinoma.
Patient And Methods: A 35-year-old female with cT1aN0M0 papillary thyroid carcinoma had a strong motivation to proceed with surgery but avoid external neck incisions.
Background: Transoral robotic thyroidectomy (TORT) is one of the newest approaches and draws attention because of its cosmetic excellence. Here, we present our preliminary data from the initial 5 consecutive patients to explore the feasibility of three-port TORT without axillary incision.
Methods: From August 2022 to December 2022, we performed TORT using three ports via the da Vinci Xi system with three robotic arms.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of intensive nutrition support on patients with tongue cancer and floor of mouth cancer after surgery at K Hospital, Tan Trieu campus. Study the clinical intervention with a control group. We conducted the intensive nutrition intervention for our patients by giving counseling materials, sample menu and nutritional supplements, while the control group had only advice about dietary regimens.

We aimed to assess the feasibility of a pragmatic intervention that entails a stepped algorithm using inhaled budesonide-formoterol (dry powder inhaler, 160μg/4.5μg per dose) for patients presenting with chronic respiratory diseases to three rural district hospitals in Hanoi, Vietnam.

EWS-FLI1 rewires the protein expression in cancer cells by activating and repressing a multitude of genes. The role and contribution of most repressed genes remains unknown to date.

An example is provided by the EWS-FLI1 oncoprotein, whose continuous expression and activity as transcription factor are critically required for Ewing sarcoma tumor formation, maintenance, and proliferation. Because neither upstream nor downstream targets have so far disabled its oncogenic potential, we performed a high-throughput drug screen (HTS), enriched for FDA-approved drugs, coupled to a Global Protein Stability (GPS) approach to identify novel compounds capable to destabilize EWS-FLI1 protein by enhancing its degradation through the ubiquitin-proteasome system.
