Osteoporosis is a systemic metabolic disease that impairs bone remodeling by favoring osteoclastic resorption over osteoblastic formation. Nanotechnology-based therapeutic strategies focus on the delivery of drug molecules to either decrease bone resorption or increase bone formation rather than regulating the entire bone remodeling process, and osteoporosis interventions suffer from this limitation. Here, we present a multifunctional nanoparticle based on metal-phenolic networks (MPNs) for the treatment of systemic osteoporosis by regulating both osteoclasts and osteoblasts.

The effects of DES with different temperatures and molar ratios on the yield of lignin, recovery rate of residues, structural changes in lignin and solid residues, and saccharification efficiency were investigated. Results: Using scRNA-seq technology, we obtained the quantitative changes in circulating immune cells and various cellular immune metabolic profiles between SLE patients and healthy volunteers.

Purpose: To explore the correlation between recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) therapy and myopia progression, and to optimize the myopia control strategies in myopic children undergoing rhGH therapy.
Methods: This retrospective study included 27 myopic children receiving rhGH therapy and 57 myopic children in the control group, all of whom underwent myopia interventions. Axial length (AL) and refraction were measured by IOLMaster and an autorefractor after cycloplegia.
Cellular senescence, a hallmark of aging, involves a stable exit from the cell cycle. Senescent cells (SnCs) are closely associated with aging and aging-related disorders, making them potential targets for anti-aging interventions. In this study, we demonstrated that human embryonic stem cell-derived exosomes (hESC-Exos) reversed senescence by restoring the proliferative capacity of SnCs in vitro.
