Background: Artificial intelligence (AI) is set to shape the future of medical practice. The perspective and understanding of medical students are critical for guiding the development of educational curricula and training.
Objective: This study aims to assess and compare medical AI-related attitudes among medical students in general medicine and in one of the visually oriented fields (pathology), along with illuminating their anticipated role of AI in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-enhanced health care.
Introduction: Septoplasty corrects a deviated nasal septum (DNS) and improves nasal obstruction. Sphenopalatine ganglion block (SPGB) effectively reduces postoperative pain after septoplasty, but conclusive evidence is still lacking. This systematic review and meta-analysis aim to comprehensively evaluate the analgesic efficacy of SPGB in septoplasty patients.

(Lamiaciatae) in traditional medicine as a calming and sedative remedy, the present study was designed to reveal its chemical constituents and bioactivity potentials. Thus, after extraction and fractionation of the plant material, the obtained butanol fraction (BPm) was subjected to conventional chromatographic separation of its constituents in addition to LC-MS/MS evaluation versus some authentic standards.

Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional, descriptive study was conducted in three universities, and a total of 817 college students participated in this study.
In this work, iron oxide (FeO) magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) and graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets were prepared via the co-precipitation technique and the Modified Hummer method. FeO MNPs and GO nanosheets were combined to prepare FeO/GO nanocomposite and subsequently conjugated with Digitonin (DIG) in order to obtain a dual-targeted delivery system based on DIG/FeO/GO nanocomposite. SEM images reveal the presence of FeO MNPs at a scale of 100 nm, exhibiting dispersion between the GO nanosheets.

We previously found a unique pattern of stress reaction in a study executed during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic using large representative samples in two countries, and termed it the Complex Stress Reaction Syndrome (CSRS).
Aim: To investigate CSRS, Type A (psychiatric symptoms, spanning anxiety, depression, stress symptoms, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)), with or without long-coronavirus disease (COVID) residuals (CSRS, Type B, neuropsychiatric symptoms spanning cognitive deficits and fatigue, excluding systemic symptoms).
Different drying techniques may alter the chemical composition of plant extracts and consequently affect their bioactivity potential. The current study was designed to reveal the effect of four different drying methods on the phytochemical composition and antioxidant activity of hydrodistilled essential oil (HD-EO) and methanolic (APM) extract obtained from the aerial part of from Jordan. Aerial parts of in their fresh (FR) form and after drying in shade (ShD), sun (SD), oven at 40 °C (O40D) and 60 °C (O60D), in addition to microwave (MWD), were used to extract their essential oils by hydrodistillation and to prepare the different methanolic extracts (APM).

Biopsies taken from the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) comprise a significant percentage of the pathologists' routine work. The variable histology and normal components of each organ along the GIT, as well as the different ways of responding to injury among these organs, can cause morphological changes that could result in potential diagnostic pitfalls. Herein, we review the pathological conditions of the GIT that could cause these diagnostic pitfalls.

In this study, we aimed to elucidate the impact of PKM2 expression level on breast cancer prognosis and survival rates and its association with various clinicopathologic characteristics and tumor markers in breast cancer patients.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included sample tissues from patients with breast cancer who did not receive chemotherapy or radiotherapy before surgery.
Anoctamin 1 (ANO1)-related intestinal dysmotility syndrome (OMIM: 620045) is an extremely rare disorder with only 2 cases reported in the medical literature. We present the clinical scenario of a 2-month-old male infant that presented to our center with diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal distension. Routine investigations did not yield a clear diagnosis.

Despite the advantages of thermal facial images in recognizing spontaneous human affects, few studies have focused on facial occlusion challenges in thermal images, particularly eyeglasses and facial hair occlusion. As a result, three classification models are proposed in this paper to address the problem of thermal occlusion in facial images, with six basic spontaneous emotions being classified.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to explore the difference between sinus bacteriology in chronic rhinosinusitis patients with and without nasal polyposis. We also analyzed the possible differences in culture results from swabs taken from the middle meatus versus the ethmoid sinus.
Methods: Retrospective chart review of adult chronic rhinosinusitis patient data from the year 2006 to 2020.
Objectives: To conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis of all randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that examined the efficacy of dry versus wet temporalis fascia graft among patients undergoing type-I tympanoplasty.
Methods: Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, and CENTRAL databases were screened from inception until July 2022. The Cochrane risk of bias tool was used to assess the quality of included RCTs.
Introduction: Foleys catheter insertion is among the most common urological procedures performed by urologists.
Case Presentation: Here we present a case diagnosed with neurogenic bladder before 3 years and she was on long-term indwelling Foleys catheter since that due to urge incontinence and changes her catheter regularly every 10 to12 weeks, where the tip of the catheter was found in the right vesico-ureteric junction with hydronephrosis of the right kidney.
Discussion: The two most commonly encountered complications of Foley catheter placement are urethral injury and retention of the Foley balloon in the urethra.
