Enterolith is a rare clinical entity that may be found on imaging or at surgery. We report an unusual case of intestinal obstruction caused by a large uric acid containing enterolith which was formed in the absence of any bowel inflammation, stricture or diverticulum.

Femoral hernia is not a common entity in males and bilateral cases are reported rarely in literatures. Here a case of bilateral femoral hernia which was misdiagnosed as a simple bilateral inguinal hernia in a young male patient is reported. The patient was managed successfully by conventional low approach of Lockwood in the same sitting.

A case of right-sided abdominal lump in a 15-year male was presented. Radiological investigations revealed a solid rounded lesion affecting the upper pole of the right kidney with peripheral rim calcification. After radical nephrectomy, histopathological examination uncovered renal cell carcinoma (clear cell variety) with well capsulated rim calcification.

Though abdominal tuberculosis is fairly common in our country, incidence of tuberculous hepatitis is rare. The authors reported a case who presented to the surgical OPD of the NRS Medical College, Calcutta with complaints of right upper quadrant abdominal pain, flatulent dyspepsia, nausea and occasional vomiting. Ultrasonography (USG) revealed fibrotic gall bladder without any calculus suggesting chronic acalculus cholecystitis.
