Case report: A rare case of multifocal, combined lymphatic-venous malformation.

Vascular malformations, including lymphatic-venous malformations (LVMs), are complex and can lead to significant morbidity. This case report details the management of a rare multifocal, combined LVM in a 3-month-old male, misdiagnosed as a right inguinal hernia prenatally. Postnatal imaging revealed multiloculated cystic masses extending from the mons pubis to the right groin, scrotum, and thigh.

One Trocar-Assisted Retroperitoneoscopic Ureteroureterostomy for Ureteral Duplication.

To describe the operative technique and outcome of one trocar-assisted retroperitoneoscopic ureteroureterostomy (OTAU) in 40 cases of complete ureteral duplication in children. From September 2016 to December 2020, 40 patients (12 male and 28 female) less than 10 years of age underwent OTAU. A transverse skin incision of 12 mm in length was created approximately 1 cm above the iliac crest.

Long-term outcome of retroperitoneoscopic one-trocar-assisted pyeloplasty: a single-center and single-surgeon experience.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess the long-term outcomes of retroperitoneoscopic one-trocar-assisted pyeloplasty (OTAP) for ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO) in children.

Methods: This retrospective analysis included 70 pediatric cases, all under the age of 5, diagnosed with UPJO and treated with the OTAP technique between May 2011 and June 2013 by a single surgeon. A single 10 mm operative scope with a 5 mm working channel was utilized to mobilize the ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) and exteriorize it through the trocar insertion site.

Suspension sutures facilitate single-incision laparoscopic-assisted rectal pull-through for Hirschsprung disease.

Background: To present a surgical technique of single-incision laparoscopic-assisted endorectal pull-through (SILEP) with suspension sutures using conventional instruments for Hirschsprung disease (HD) and its long-term follow-up outcomes.

Methods: The procedure began with a 1 cm transumbilical skin incision. Three separate punctures were made in the fascia with a 5 mm scope in the middle and 5 mm and 3 mm ports for working instruments on the left and right, respectively.

Robotic-assisted surgery for choledochal cyst in children: early experience at Vietnam National Children's Hospital.

Purpose: We aimed to describe our robotic-assisted surgery (RAS) techniques and assess the early results of RAS for choledochal cysts in children.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective chart review of children who underwent RAS for a congenital choledochal cyst at our institution between February 2013 and August 2016. We analyzed patient characteristics, operative data, and postoperative outcomes.
