Cuproptosis can serve as potential prognostic predictors in patients with cancer. However, the role of this relationship in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV) remains unclear. 376 OV tumor samples were obtained from the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database, and long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) related to cuproptosis were obtained through correlation analysis.

However, challenges arise due to the corrosion of hydrogen fluoride (HF) and the dissolution of transition metal ions (TMs) in harsh conditions. To address this issue, researchers have constructed an anion-derived CEI film enriched with LiF and LiPOF soluble product on the surface of LiNiMnO (LNMO) cathode in highly concentrated electrolytes (HCEs).

Targeting lipid metabolic disorders is an important therapeutic strategy for the treatment of DM and its complications, including DKD. This study aimed to explore the molecular mechanism of lipid metabolic regulation in kidney, especially renal PTECs, and elucidate the role of lipid metabolic related molecule lipin-1 in diabetic lipid-related kidney damage.

While cytotherapy offers a promising treatment option, stem cell transplantation results in low survival rates and fails in target cell differentiation. In this study, we aimed to prefabricate syngeneic adipose organoids (ad-organoids) using microvascular fragments (MVFs) via three-dimensional (3D) culturing and transplant them beneath the fibrotic skin to restore subcutaneous fat and reverse the pathological manifestation of localized scleroderma.

Hence, the objective of this study was to explore the impacts of miR-3677-3p on tumor progression and sorafenib resistance in hepatitis B-related HCC and the related underlying mechanisms.

However, most traditional focusing techniques focus on the design and improvement of single-point focusing, neglecting the need to carry more dimensions of multifocal beams. Here we propose an automatic multifocal beamforming method, which is implemented using a four-step phase metasurface.

However, it remains ambiguous whether the ETS can achieve emission mitigation without undermining economic activity in specific industries in emerging running markets. This study focuses on the impact of China's four independent ETS pilots on carbon emissions, industrial competitiveness, and spatial spillover effects in the iron and steel industry.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is derived from healthy liver as a central organ for copper metabolism. It remains no conclusive evidence whether cuproptosis is involved in survival improvement of patients with HCC.

(Nature 2023;615:244) claims to have discovered room-temperature superconductivity in lutetium-nitrogen-hydrogen system at 1 GPa, which sheds light on the long-held dream of ambient superconductivity. However, all follow-up experiments found no evidence of superconductivity.

'Ruidu Hongyu' grapevine is one of the newly developed grape varieties, and cultivation of this variety has been extended across China due to unique quality traits and taste. In this study, HS-SPME/GC-MS and transcriptome sequencing analysis were performed to evaluate the impact of exogenous 2,4-epibrassinolide (EBR), jasmonic acid (JA), and their signaling inhibitors brassinazole (Brz)/sodium diethyldithiocarbamate (DIECA) on the biosynthesis of aroma substances in 'Ruidu Hongyu' grapevine.

The underlying mechanisms of EC tumorigenesis remain unclear, and efficient target therapies are lacking, for both of which feasible endometrial cancer animal models are essential but currently limited. Here, an organoid and genome editing-based strategy to generate primary, orthotopic, and driver-defined ECs in mice is reported.

The catalytic system also allows stepwise trifunctionalization, leading to complex NHC boranes with three different functional groups which are challenging to prepare by other methods. The strong hydrogen-abstracting ability of the excited decatungstate enables the generation of boryl radicals from mono- and di-substituted boranes for realizing borane multifunctionalization.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 69 patients who underwent resection of benign breast tumors (fibroma, segment) in the Maternity and Child Care Center of Qinhuangdao from January 2021 to June 2022. Among them, 33 patients who received TNB were assigned to an observation group, and 36 patients who received local infiltration anesthesia were assigned to a control group.

The Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI), which typically occurs in lattices without space inversion symmetry, can also be induced in a highly symmetric lattice by local symmetry breaking due to any lattice defect. We recently presented an experimental study of polarized small angle neutron scattering (SANS) on the nanocrystalline soft magnet Vitroperm (FeSiBNbCu), where the interface between the FeSi nanoparticles and the amorphous magnetic matrix serves as such a defect. The SANS cross sections exhibited the polarization-dependent asymmetric term originating from the DMI.

The spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus was usually used as the main antigen in many types of vaccines to produce neutralizing antibodies against the virus. However, the spike (S) proteins of different variants were only differentiated by a few amino acids, making it difficult to obtain specific antibodies that can distinguish different VOCs, thereby challenging the accurate distinction and quantification of the variants using immunological methods such as ELISA.
