Objective: To detect the differentially expressed regulatory miRNAs in the late stage of red blood cell (RBC) preservation and predict their roles.
Methods: Suspended RBCs with different storage periods of 35 day, 42 day, and 50 day were collected for routine blood tests, RNA extraction, and preparation of small RNA sequencing libraries. The constructed libraries were sequenced and the biological functions of differential miRNAs in RBCs in the late storage were analyzed by bioinformatics.

In the present study, we utilized the large datasets from four public databases to investigate the expression of LIF and LIFR and their clinical significance in PAAD.
