Studies have suggested that endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) is involved in neurological dysfunction and that electroacupuncture (EA) attenuates neuropathic pain (NP) via undefined pathways. However, the role of ERS in the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) in NP and the effect of EA on ERS in the ACC have not yet been investigated. In this study, an NP model was established by chronic constriction injury (CCI) of the left sciatic nerve in rats, and mechanical and cold tests were used to evaluate behavioral hyperalgesia.

The recently discovered nickelate superconductor La_{3}Ni_{2}O_{7} has a high transition temperature near 80 K under pressure, providing an additional avenue for exploring unconventional superconductivity. Here, with state-of-the-art tensor-network methods, we study a bilayer t-J-J_{⊥} model for La_{3}Ni_{2}O_{7} and find a robust s-wave superconductive (SC) order mediated by interlayer magnetic couplings. Large-scale density matrix renormalization group calculations find algebraic pairing correlations with Luttinger parameter K_{SC}≲1.

Insight into the role of p62 in the cisplatin resistant mechanisms of ovarian cancer.

Cisplatin is a platinum-based first-line drug for treating ovarian cancer. However, chemotherapy tolerance has limited the efficacy of cisplatin for ovarian cancer patients. Research has demonstrated that cisplatin causes changes in cell survival and death signaling pathways through its interaction with macromolecules and organelles, which indicates that investigation into the DNA off-target effects of cisplatin may provide critical insights into the mechanisms underlying drug resistance.

[Effects of the injectable glycol-chitosan based hydrogel on the proliferation and differentiation of human dental pulp cells].

Objective: To prepare glycol-chitosan (GC)-based single/dual-network hydrogels with different composition ratios (GC31, DN3131 and DN6262) and to investigate the effects of hydrogel scaffolds on biological behavior of human dental pulp cell (hDPC) encapsulated.

Methods: We synthesized optimal siRNA gene nanoparticles by characterizing the zeta potential of polylysine (PLL)/siRNA gene compounds, and established a pH and temperature dually sensitive injectable gene compound drug controlled release system via Schiffs reaction between glycol chitosan (GC) and benzaldehyde capped OHC-PEO-PPO-PEO-CHO. HPV type 16 L1 (HPV16L1) gene was inserted into plasmid pHS3199 to form the pHS3199-HPV16L1 construct, and pHS3199-HPV16L1 was electroporated into a live attenuated Shigella strain sh42.
