The genus encompasses diverse species with various applications, particularly in traditional medicine and spice production. This study focuses on , specifically on a high-D-borneol-content chemotype, known as the Meipian Tree, in Guangdong Province, South China. This research explores essential oil diversity, chemotypes, and chloroplast genomic diversity among 28 samples collected from botanical gardens.

For the first time, dynamic self-assembly of adenine has been utilized for growth of ultrasmall, highly dispersed, and clean Pd NPs on pristine graphene. The obtained nanohybrid shows remarkably enhanced FAOR catalytic activity and durability compared to Pd NPs directly grown on pristine graphene and commercial Pd/C.

Comparative plastid genomic analysis provided new insights into Mazaceae. The phylogenetic categorization of Mazus lanceifolius (Mazaceae) has long been uncertain.

Doxorubicin (DOX) as a model drug was covalently conjugated into the core of micelles via hydrazone bonds. The drug loading capacity could reach up to 15% with drug encapsulation efficiency of 80%.

Stimuli-responsive polymeric micelles were prepared through self-assembly of amphiphilic copolymers poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(γ-benzyl l-glutamate), followed by a core-crosslinking reaction using cystamine as the crosslinking agent. The crosslinked micelles with spherical morphologies in nanometer size showed enhanced stability against dilution and concentrated salt solutions compared to the micelles before crosslinking. Doxorubicin (DOX) as a model drug was encapsulated into the core of micelles through electrostatic interactions between carboxylic acid and DOX.
