Aging causes degenerative changes in organs, leading to a decline in physical function. Over the past two decades, researchers have made significant progress in understanding the rejuvenating effects of young blood on aging organs, benefiting from heterochronic parabiosis models that connect the blood circulation of aged and young rodents. It has been discovered that young blood can partially rejuvenate organs in old animals by regulating important aging-related signaling pathways.

The dried rhizome of Gastrodia elata Blume has been used to treat clinical kidney diseases. Gastrodin (GAS) is an active ingredient of the G.

Gastrodin is the major bioactive constituent extracted from thetuberGastrodia elata, and is currently used to treat dizziness in the clinic. "Early" application of gastrodin (before modeling or immediately after ischemic injury) has shown antioxidative and neuroprotective effects in a transient focal brain ischemia model in rodents; however, it is not known whether the delayed administration of gastrodin after permanent focal cerebral ischemia ameliorates neural injury and increases neurogenesis.

The phosphatase WIP1 has been shown to regulate neurogenesis in models of aging. However, it is not known if WIP1 affects neurogenesis and functional recovery after brain ischemia.

Methods: 213 cases (214 eyes) of ocular tumor in children below 14 years old between January 2001 and December 2007 in Henan Eye Institute were reviewed retrospectively, the pathological classification were made according to the location and nature of the tumor.
Results: There were 17 eyes (7.
Ischemic cerebral stroke may cause disability and rehabilitation is mainly dependent on long-term exercise. However, this needs many years of consistent application. Even then, it is not certain that patients will see satisfactory recovery of function.

Objective: To study the clinical and pathogenic characteristics of keratitis caused by Alternaria alternata and to provide evidence for the diagnose and treatment of mycotic keratitis.
Methods: The patients with keratitis were examined by lamp microscope; the direct smears of corneal scrapings were stained using 10% potassium hydroxide and Giemsa's staining and the results were observed under microscope. After hypha was found, the samples from corneal were taken for fungal culture and fungal susceptibility test in vitro according to the National Community of Clinical Laboratory Standard (NCCLS) document M38-A at the same time.
