Cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury is frequently associated with neuroinflammation. The modulation of microglial polarization presents a promising approach for addressing cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury. While electroacupuncture preconditioning has demonstrated efficacy in the management of ischemic stroke, the underlying therapeutic mechanisms remain inadequately understood.
