During maritime operations, extreme events such as explosions, grounding, and seal failures can cause water ingress into lubricant compartments, forming oil-water emulsions that significantly affect the lubrication performance of ship stern bearings. Existing studies mainly focus on low water content, with limited exploration of the impact of high water content on lubrication performance. To address this gap, viscosity measurements of oil-water mixtures were conducted, and an emulsification viscosity equation applicable to varying water contents was derived.

Traditional devices, hindered by high costs and cumbersome sizes, are being increasingly supplemented by portable alternatives; however, these alternatives often fall short in measurement accuracy. Addressing this gap, this study introduces a novel A-mode ultrasound-based bladder volume estimation algorithm optimized for portable devices, combining efficient, precise volume estimation with enhanced usability.

A total of six datasets were downloaded from Gene Expression Omnibus. "Limma" and "DESeq2" packages in R software and GEO2R were applied to identify the differentially expressed miRNAs and mRNAs (DEmiRNAs and DEmRNAs, respectively).

Based on the unvalidated cut-off value of PLA2Rab above 150 RU/ml as one of the clinical criteria for high risk of progressive kidney function loss in MN according to 2020 Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) draft guidelines recommendation, a total of 447 patients who received cyclophosphamide (CTX) or tacrolimus (TAC) combined with corticosteroids treatment for 12 months were divided into high titer (>150 RU/ml) group and non-high titer (20-150 RU/ml) group, which were subdivided into CTX subgroup and TAC subgroup. The overall cohort was classified into CTX group and TAC group as well.

Introduction: Antihypertension, intensive glucose control (IGC), and lipid lowering were the main therapeutic strategies in diabetes mellitus. However, the comparative effects of them on renoprotection remain unclear.
Materials And Methods: We searched the PubMed, EMBase, and Cochrane Library up to May 18, 2017, for studies with comparative interventions on regression, end-stage renal disease and all-cause death in diabetes mellitus.
