Help-seeking behavior of individuals with schizophrenia in the general population of Hunan, China.

This study aims to know the seeking help behavior of individuals with SZ (Schizophrenia) in Hunan province of China. Individuals (age > 15) with schizophrenia were recruited in the study after a two-stage diagnosis procedure (including questionnaire screening and face-to-face SCID interview by psychiatrists) in Hunan province. A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate their help-seeking behavior.

Serious Workplace Violence Against Healthcare Providers in China Between 2004 and 2018.

Workplace violence (WPV) against healthcare providers has severe consequences and is underreported worldwide. The aim of this study was to present the features, causes, and outcomes of serious WPV against healthcare providers in China. We searched for serious WPV events reported online and analyzed information about time, location, people, methods, motivations, and outcomes related to the incident.

Evaluation of an injectable thermosensitive hydrogel as drug delivery implant for ocular glaucoma surgery.

In this study, a biodegradable thermo-sensitive hydrogel from poly(trimethylene carbonate)15-F127-poly(trimethylene carbonate)15 (PTMC15-F127-PTMC15) was designed and evaluated as an injectable implant during ocular glaucoma filtration surgery in vivo and in vitro. Mitomycin C (MMC) was loaded into this hydrogel for controlled released to prolong the efficacy and to reduce the long-term toxicity. The properties of the hydrogel were confirmed using 1H NMR and gel permeation chromatography (GPC).

Synthesis of a novel CS-g-MMCs conjugate and the inhabitation on the proliferation of Tenon's capsule fibroblasts in vitro.
