FAK inhibitor PF-562271 inhibits the migration and proliferation of high-grade serous ovarian cancer cells through FAK and FAK mediated cell cycle arrest.

Focal adhesion kinase (FAK) is a promising therapeutic target for various cancers and its inhibitor development is in full swing. PF-562271 is a classic FAK inhibitor that has shown promising preclinical data and has been found to exhibit an anti-migration effect on some cancer cells. However, its anticancer effect on high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) has not been reported.

Background: The clinical manifestations of myofascial pelvic pain (MFPP) are mainly acute or chronic muscle pain at one or more trigger points in the pelvic cavity or pelvic floor.

BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to investigate STMN1 and MKI67 expression in uterine leiomyosarcoma and their potential roles as biomarkers for diagnosis. MATERIAL AND METHODS The expression of STMN1 and MKI67 mRNA in uterine leiomyosarcoma were investigated in TCGA database. The overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) were compared between high and low expression groups.

Study on the correlation between hTREC and HPV load and cervical CINI/II/III lesions and cervical cancer.

Objective: To investigate the correlation between hTREC and human papillomavirus (HPV) load and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) grade II/III lesions and cervical cancer.

Methods: A total of 135 patients with cervical lesions of different degrees admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to February 2017 were selected, including CIN I/III 65 cases, grade III 39 cases, and cervical cancer 31 cases. The expression of hTERC gene was detected by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) in three groups, and the HPV load was detected by second-generation hybridization capture (HC II) method, and its relationship with cervical lesion grade was analyzed.

Long non-coding RNA LINC00261 inhibits cell growth and migration in endometriosis.

Aim: A previous study reported that LINC00261 is significantly downregulated in human ectopic endometrial tissues. The present study aimed to explore whether LINC00261 is functional in endometriosis cell proliferation, apoptosis and migration.

Methods: By transfecting human endometriosis cell line CRL-7566 with plasmids containing LINC00261, we successfully established the cell CRL-7566/LINC00261 with a high LINC00261 expression level.
