The present study investigated the difference in transmittance of light carrying opposite spin angular momentum (SAM) and orbital angular momentum (OAM) through chlorella algal fluid with varying concentrations and thicknesses. Our results indicate that, under specific conditions, right-handed light sources exhibit higher transmittance in the algal fluid compared to left-handed light sources. Furthermore, we observed that light with OAM also demonstrated higher transmittance than other types of light sources, leading to faster cell density growth of Chlorella.

The metabolic disorders caused by diabetes can lead to various complications, including dysfunction of the male reproductive system. In patients with diabetes, long-term hyperglycemia results in diabetic vascular neuropathy, oxidative stress injury, abnormal zinc metabolism, and insulin resistance syndrome. In addition, insulin deficiency and resistance in diabetes can damage the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, gonads, and perigonads.

Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to compare the effects of two hormone agonists, Alarelin and Triptorelin, on the pituitary gland during IVF-ET to help boost ovulation in patients with secondary infertility.
  • A total of 122 women, aged 24-39, were treated with either Alarelin (78 patients) or Triptorelin (44 patients), focusing on measures like hormone levels and IVF outcomes.
  • Results showed no major differences in IVF success metrics between the two groups, but the Triptorelin group experienced a higher rate of cancelled cycles compared to the Alarelin group.
