- A total of 140 IXT patients were divided into two groups based on their axial elongation rates over 12 months, with the faster growth group showing significantly different visual and refractive characteristics.
- Results indicated that faster axial elongation in dominant eyes was linked to more myopic spherical equivalents, greater accommodative amplitude, and fewer near points of convergence, while the nondominant eyes were only influenced by myopic spherical equivalents.

- Sixty rats were divided into different treatment groups, with results showing that the higher concentration Pyr-PDS (PY2) significantly improved blood pH, oxygen levels, and reduced harmful inflammatory markers when compared to the lower concentration (PY1).
- The findings suggest that PY2 resuscitation helps stabilize hemodynamics, correct acid-base imbalance, and reduce intestinal injury, potentially by enhancing immune response and maintaining intestinal barrier function.
