High-precision plant height measurement by drone with RTK-GNSS and single camera for real-time processing.

Conventional crop height measurements performed using aerial drone images require 3D reconstruction results of several aerial images obtained through structure from motion. Therefore, they require extensive computation time and their measurement accuracy is not high; if the 3D reconstruction result fails, several aerial photos must be captured again. To overcome these challenges, this study proposes a high-precision measurement method that uses a drone equipped with a monocular camera and real-time kinematic global navigation satellite system (RTK-GNSS) for real-time processing.

However, enabling high tunability of the association processes as in biological counterparts and thus integration of multiple signals from the environment, ideally in a single device, is challenging. Here, we fabricate an organic ferroelectric neuromem capable of monadically implementing optically modulated associative learning.

The fourth instar larva and pupa of Yu, 2005 are described and illustrated using a Scanning Electron Microscope. The adult male and female of this species are redescribed. Immatures were collected from flooded soil near a pond in Xiaojiawan village, Guizhou province, China and reared in the laboratory.

Metal-free catalyzed oxidative trimerization of indoles by using TEMPO in air: a biomimetic approach to 2-(1H-indol-3-yl)-2,3'-biindolin-3-ones.

A simple, convenient and efficient metal-free catalyzed oxidative trimeric reaction of indoles toward a variety of 2-(1H-indol-3-yl)-2,3'-biindolin-3-one derivatives in moderate to excellent yields has been developed. This transformation proceeds via a tandem oxidative homocoupling reaction by using TEMPO in air as an environmentally benign oxidant. This methodology provides an alternative approach for the direct generation of all-carbon quaternary centers at the C3 position of indoles.
